A 50% Slope? No Problem!

One of our clients, Sondex Belgium, was confronted with a very difficult terrain in Theux (B) to carry out Cone Penetration Tests for a private home project.
Sondex has selected the 130 kN CPT penetrometer crawler Gouda-Geo built 2 years ago for them. The crawler features extra wide triple grouser track shoes (for low ground pressure), double speed travel drives (including low precise speed combined with high torque) and radiographic remote control (for safe operation). These features in combination with the broad experience of the Sondex operators proved to be the right choice to conquer the 50% slope. The job was completed successfully.
