Hello New CPT-Explorer, Bye Bye Old GeoExplorer
January 9th, 2018For many many years so many in the CPT industry have worked with the trusty GeoExplorer data acquisition software. But all good things come to an end. The design of GeoExplorer goes back to 2001 and in software years that is almost prehistoric. GeoExplorer did no longer comply with the latest standards like ISO 22476 and ASTM 5778, was developed for old obsolete operating systems and was only available in English.
It is for this reason that GeoExplorer will be replaced by CPT-Explorer; a brand-new data acquisition software that has been developed by our own engineers and that meets the latest requirements.
CPT-Explorer has quite some advantages for the user:
- The user interface will be available in 9 languages, i.e. Dutch, English, German and French. Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Polish and Turkish will be available in 6 months from now.
- Other languages possible on request
- Compliant with the most recent ISO and ASTM standards
- Suitable for the most recent operating systems, like Windows 10
- No annual software fee; all updates are free of charge
- All traditional output formats remain available
- BRO-ready
