New Diesel-Hydraulic Power-Pack

In anticipation of the introduction of a new lightweight 200 kN CPT penetrometer set, we proudly present today to you this brand-new diesel-hydraulic power-pack.

The power-pack features a hand-started Hatz diesel engine (7 kW (10 HP) @ 3600 rpm), an aluminium hydraulic tank (70 litre), hydraulic pump (max. 210 bar), frame with handles for pulling/pushing/carrying at both ends, 2 balloon-tyres and a retractable nose wheel.

The design of the power-pack was aimed on easy handling, not on compactness. The handles at both ends in combination with the balloon-tyres facilitate manoeuvring through marshlands and on embankments. Because of its relatively light weight (210 kg only!) it can easily be hand-carried by 4 men as well.
