Repair of Main Chassis of CPT Truck
October 27th, 2014We at Gouda-Geo do also repair and maintenance on machines manufactured by other companies. Last week a 180 kN CPT truck was brought in with serious cracks in the main chassis. This is the backbone of the machine and it proved to be beyond repair.
Because of the character of the cracks it was decided to reengineer the main chassis in order to avoid similar damages in the future. The design was improved and high tensile steel was used in the construction. All welding has been executed by a fully certified welder.
