The Importance of Good Soil Investigation
July 7th, 2014One of the mayor Dutch contractors announced today to expect project losses of approximately €75 million. Problems were encountered during large civil engineering project in Germany and the UK.
The problems are due to unforeseen bad ground conditions and technical solutions had to be implemented to keep these projects on schedule. The measures proved to be more costly than anticipated.
Once a again the daily practice emphasized the importance of good soil investigation; it will safe costs and avoids project delays.
